Faculty & Disclosures Sheryl Redlin Frazier, RN, MSN, OCN® Sheryl Redlin Frazier is currently co-lead of the Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Program, a partnership with AACN-UHC. In that capacity, she develops curricula for nurse residents, preceptor workshops, and hospital initiatives such as learning modules for nurses. Sheryl has co-chaired the multidisciplinary Nursing Pharmacy Committee for 5 years. Sheryl is also a member of the ADE (Adverse Drug Events) Committee, and is charged with initiating process improvement and surveillance of high-alert medications. In addition, she is the Chair of the Nursing Education Oversight Committee, which is responsible for the program development for continuing education opportunities. As a Staff Nurse Educator, Sheryl has developed programs for competency assessment of RNs, LPNs, care partners (unlicensed assistive personnel), and medical receptionists.
Mark Sullivan, PharmD, MBA, BCPS Mark Sullivan is currently the Director for VUH Pharmacy
Operations for the Vanderbilt University Hospital in
Nashville. He has been either responsible for or assisted
with implementation of a number of medication-related
systems, including automated medication vending systems, the
Smart Pump medication infusion system, the computerized
prescriber order entry system, and the bedside barcoding
system. Mark currently serves as an invited member of the
USP Safe Medication Use Committee, and holds faculty
appointments to the University of Tennessee College of
Pharmacy. He served on the Admissions Committee for the
inaugural class of the Lipscomb College of Pharmacy. |
